Terms & Conditions

Section 1 — Appointments, Cancellation and Late Arrival

Booking and Confirmation

A valid credit card is required to reserve any appointment. Your card is held on file and is not charged at booking except where a deposit is required for a specific service. We confirm appointments using the contact methods you authorized on the Notice of Privacy Practices Acknowledgment (Form A); a confirmation is a courtesy, and not receiving one does not cancel or move your appointment.

Notice Required to Cancel or Reschedule

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations and reschedules are treated the same way.

24 hours' notice or more:  No fee. Your appointment is released and you may rebook at any time.

Less than 24 hours' notice:  A late cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service is charged to the card on file.

No-show:  A missed appointment without notice is charged at 100% of the scheduled service.

Late arrival:  Your treatment may be shortened so the next guest is not delayed, and the full service fee still applies. If too little time remains to perform the service safely, it is treated as a late cancellation.

When We Cancel

If we must cancel or reschedule, whether for provider illness, equipment failure, weather, or any circumstance beyond our control, you will be offered the next available appointment and no fee of any kind applies. If we decline to perform a service on the day for a safety or screening reason described in Section 2, that is also not a late cancellation and no fee is charged.

Fees under this section are charged for the reserved time, not for a treatment, and are separate from the price of any service actually performed.

Section 2 — Eligibility, Conduct and Our Right to Decline Service

Age and Guardian Consent

Intravenous therapy and intramuscular injection therapy are offered to clients aged 18 and over only, without exception. Esthetic services may be provided to a client under 18 only with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must remain on the premises for the duration of the appointment.

Health Disclosure Is an Ongoing Obligation

You are responsible for giving us a complete and accurate health history, including conditions, medications, supplements, allergies, prior procedures and reactions, and pregnancy status, and for telling us about any change before each subsequent visit, not only at your first. Withholding or misstating this information can cause serious injury.

When We Will Decline or Stop a Service

Your provider may decline, modify, or stop a service at any point, using their professional judgment. We will do this when screening or the condition of your skin makes a treatment unsafe, when a contraindication is identified, when a service is outside the scope of practice of the available provider, or when you appear to be under the influence of alcohol or any impairing substance. A service declined for a safety reason is never treated as a late cancellation.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone who behaves abusively, aggressively, or inappropriately toward our staff or another guest, or who ignores instructions given for their own safety. Where an appointment ends for that reason, the full service fee applies and we may decline to book you again.

Illness

Please reschedule if you have a fever, an active infection, or a communicable illness on the day of your appointment. Tell us as soon as you know: we will not charge a late cancellation fee where you notify us promptly for this reason.

Guests, Children and Belongings

Treatment rooms are for the client receiving the service. Children may not be left unattended in the reception area or brought into a treatment room. Please leave valuables at home, as we are not responsible for personal property that is lost, damaged, or left behind on the premises.

Phones, Recording and Privacy of Others

Please keep phones silent in treatment areas. Photographing or recording our staff, other guests, or any part of the premises is not permitted without our written permission. Photography of your own treatment is governed by the media authorization in Form A.

Section 3 — Results, Aftercare and Responsibility

What We Can and Cannot Promise

All services offered here are elective cosmetic and wellness services. They are not medical treatment for any disease or condition, they are not a substitute for evaluation by a physician, and they are generally not covered by health insurance. If you have a lesion, symptom, or concern of a medical nature, we will refer you to a physician and may decline to treat until you have been seen.

No result is guaranteed. Outcomes vary between individuals based on genetics, age, skin condition, hormones, sun exposure, home care, and factors outside anyone's control. A series of treatments is usually required, results are often gradual and subtle, and you may experience little or no visible improvement. No one at this practice is authorized to promise you a specific result, and any before-and-after image you have seen represents that individual only.

Payment is for the service performed, not for a result. Fees are earned when a treatment is rendered and are not refundable on the basis of dissatisfaction with the aesthetic outcome. Nothing in this paragraph limits any right you may have arising from negligent care.

Assumption of Risk

Every service carries reasonably foreseeable risks. Those risks are set out in full in the consent form for the service you are receiving: Form B for facials, chemical peels and microneedling, Form C for IV therapy, and Form D for injection therapy, and you will sign the applicable consent before that service is performed. By proceeding, you accept the risks disclosed to you in that form.

Aftercare

Aftercare is part of the treatment, not an optional extra. You agree to follow the written post-treatment instructions you are given, including sun avoidance and daily broad-spectrum SPF, and to avoid the activities and products named for the period specified. Failure to follow aftercare materially increases the risk of pigmentation change, infection and scarring, and outcomes affected by non-compliance are not our responsibility.

Reporting a Problem

Contact us immediately if you develop increasing pain, spreading redness, warmth, swelling, drainage, fever, blistering, or any reaction that concerns you. For any severe or rapidly worsening reaction, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department first: treat contacting us as the second call, not the first.

Section 4 — Limits of Liability and How Disputes Are Handled

To the fullest extent permitted by New York law, our liability arising out of any service is limited to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for outcomes arising from a health history you did not disclose accurately, from your failure to follow aftercare, or from treatment you obtained elsewhere before or after your visit with us.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for negligence in the provision of professional services. These terms do not waive any right you have under New York law.

Raising a Concern

If something goes wrong, tell us first and give us the chance to make it right: raise it with any staff member or ask for the practice manager, and we will respond promptly. If a dispute cannot be resolved that way, both sides agree to attempt mediation in good faith before commencing proceedings. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the courts of Nassau County, New York are the venue for any dispute.

Changes and Severability

We may update these terms. The current version is posted at our practice location and provided on request, and the version in force on the date of your appointment is the one that applies. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

These terms sit alongside the consent and privacy forms you sign at this practice. Where a signed consent form specific to your treatment says something different about that treatment, the signed consent form governs.

Questions About Any of This

Ask any member of our team, or ask for the practice manager. We would rather explain a term before your appointment than have it come as a surprise afterward.
